    Oh my goodness.They are beautiful. The handsome models look very happy. I really love the pink one but they are all fantastic.

    I would love to make Puppy Covers a viable business but it is very hard to get people to pay what I would need to charge to make it profitable. Back when I first started in '04 I charged 20.00 if I recall and that included shipping. Now just to make the blanket and a small bit of money for my time I have to charge 25.00 plus 7.00 to ship. Who is going to spend 32.00 for a dog blanket when you can buy a 5.00 throw and have any embroidery shop put a name on it for 15.00?

    That's always the problem, Tracy. No one wants to pay for your time and unless you have a wholesale source for materials, there is no way to make any money. Even with a wholesale source, it's really hard to compete. Handmade isn't a priority for many people.
