Scooter Ray. He knows he's in trouble then. Jim always said that as a kid he knew he was in trouble when his mom used his first and middle name. Since Scooter got in so much trouble, we gave him a middle name so he'd know he was in trouble.

It was the same with James whenever I said "James Jeffrey!!" he knew he was in trouble .

Heidi does actually respond to Holly, but I suspect it has more to do with the "eee" sound. Ferk kind of looks like a Sam to me, but for now, we'll go with Ferk. And you know what they say, those dachsies! Call me what you want, just call me late for dinner!! (As if they'd let you )

my biggest regret was not changing Baxters name. I hate his name for some reason. I think, when I saw his pic for the first time I said to myself " I will rename him Cooper" when I picked him up from the woman who didnt want him anymore, her last words were " your not going to change his name, are you? please dont change his name" and I didn't but I really wish I had.

When Odie is in trouble its "ODIE FRANCIS!!!" or "OTIS!" ;-)

I've kept all my dog's names. They were okay and I'm not that involved with their name anyway. It's just what you call them and doesn't mean that much to me.

Call me an old fart, but the name "Ferkel" brings to mind the Farkle Family (remember "Laugh In" TV show from '60's?)
