    Default B & E need some prayers

My goodness I've been managing bloody diarrhea since Wed, first from Engli, then Beau. It looks like Engli threw up before we got up this morning, which is a new symptom. Love the fact that we have papers down for them. Garbage pick up isn't until Monday and I can tell you the garbage is absolutely frightful to lift the lid. That's the only good thing about winter here is that stuff thrown in the garbage just freezes. lol

I've had them to the vets, I was there 3 times on Thurs. I think my bill is about $800 at this point, but I'm not going to add it up yet. We could use some prayers and good thoughts.

The girls had something like that a couple years ago. Back and forth once or twice as well . Metronidazole finally fixed it, once I was giving it to both at the same time. Lots of rayz that something works for your guys soon .

Thankfully they are not deathly ill. Both are on metronidazole but Beau is getting a bigger dose. Hopefully they'll be doing better today.

The vet said they got into something, although Engli was ill for a few days before Beau showed anything. The back yard has only grass so there's not plants for them to nibble. The only guess I had was goose poop since they fly over all the time and I've found plops from them and feathers. No clue what else it might be.

It's always a worry when they are up in age that they can't fight it as well as a younger dog. Georgia seems fine at this point.

Big ky Rayz for your whole crew. Scary, that. I remember once Duchie was "helping" in the flower bed and decided to nosh on iris bulbs. Not a good plan. Please do keep us posted on their continued improvement.

Everyone was hungry and ate supper, and no throwing up.
Stool is looking a bit better. Got my fingers crossed that we've gotten past the worst of it.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words.
