My latest rescue Tootsie was hit by a car at least 2-3 weeks ago, was taken to a shelter and had to sit for week waiting to see if anyone would claim her. Naturally no one did. She needed surgery to repair a broken leg, hernia and open wound. Tootsie is a sweet young girl that needed a chance and I gave it to her. The missing hair around her eye is from where she had road rash and the scabs just came off. You I brought her home today with a huge vet bill of just under$3000.00. Tootsie is a very wonderful little girl and house trained. Helpiing her was the right thing to do. Donations are slow but no matter any thing we get helps.
