    Default In Memory of Holly

We buried Holly in the backyard, beside Jeb, today.
She died in my arms last night, when her little heart stopped beating. We suspect her CHF was the cause. She was perfectly fine & energetic last evening. Then near bedtime she suddenly had trouble walking & standing. Maybe a stroke? She became totally weak & wanted only to be held. So we held her for a while, and she quietly passed away. So sudden.

She was a sweetheart, and we miss her terribly. Our gentle little munchkin. May she rest in peace.

How tragic! I am so sorry for your loss, but dying in your arms was a wonderful way to go. She was so lovely. My heart aches for you.

I am so sorry! How sad she should go so suddenly, but there is never enough time.

    Run free sweet girl.

I am heartbroken. Even though we knew time was close at hand it hurts.
I loved that little girl and believe it was your love that kept her closes as long as she was with you.

I am so so sorry, Ivan. Totally heartbreaking. Today is the 3rd anniversary of Wen's crossing, and I truly believe he was there to guide her across. Many many for your hearts. Godspeed, sweet girl. Til you meet again.

I am so very sorry, Ivan... my thoughts are with you and her mama (I remember you saying Holly was a mama's girl). I'm glad she went quietly and safely in your arms.

Thank you for your warm wishes.

Holly's absence is deeply felt. The smallest one, with the biggest presence. A super-calm senior. Funny how the gentle, quiet ones can exude so much happiness & love just by always being near, and their quirky sweet little reserved actions. Peaceful. Then the way they bound over to you with obvious JOY, the snuggling, the look, the love. Mama's heart-dog. She never barked, but our house is so much quieter today, in every other way. So sad.
