Default The Christmas gift that gave me tears

I got this message from the lady who is fostering Oscar, the little 17 yr old senior..

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

My husband surprised me this morning with Oscar's adoption papers. He will live out the rest of his days with us.

    I had tears reading that.
What a kind and generous family to take in this sweet fella. It's the kind of thing very fitting for Christmas day, I think.
Bless your heart Oscar. That second chance is all yours today. Enjoy your snooze by the fire and have no worries.

    Yahoo!!!
Wow, that's fabulous fantastic news. Wonderful. Lucky lady, and lucky Oscar. Please give a big hug to your friend's DH, who made it happen.

Penny, first time I read that, I thought YOU had adopted Oscar. :-)

You wouldn't have been far off. We were thinking that we should go meet the little guy after Christmas. Just to say Hello. ;o)
