    Default Home-made doggie treats

We made more of these doggie treats, yesterday & today. We sliced about 30# of Costco beef (round) and 20# of pork (loin) into 1/2" wide strips. Then we dehydrated them in our machine, which took 2 batches, each overnight. 9 trays per batch. The basement workshop smells so yummy. No spices at all, just meat. I do eat a few of them, but 99% are for the dogs. Personally, I think the beef tastes better than the pork. The doggies gobble 'em up, either way. We usually cut the finished dried strips into little 1/2" cubes, for HVT. They're always in my pocket. Wanna bite?

My helpers... Daddy, is it ready yet?

    Those fuzzy faces, squeeee!

That is a wonderful idea. Awesome dehydrator. We have the Nesco round type dehydrator, but I pretty much have only done fruit in it for Rafi.
