I have FB messaged with her. She is heartbroken... I'd love for her to come back home to DLC. Judy, I'm so glad that you and Peter felt the sincere sympathy and shared grief when you lost your sweet Penny. The love of sweet little doggies bonds kindred spirits.

making an attempt to come back. it's so hard. I miss my dogs so much, esp. Laika as the weather is finally getting better. I miss my buddy who was no fazed by snow or mud. Who was always brave. I love my Salsa and Segue and Sonic but they are wimps. Laika was always up for everything. The day before I let her go we went to the park where she tracked coyotes in the snow. She was weak but happy.
I still can't believe she is gone. Nothing is the same without her. I was so hoping to have her this spring...to go to the beach...to go on more walks.
such a huge hole without her.

Happy beyond words to see you here. But my heart is breaking for you. Too much loss too close together...believe me, I know how it feels. Love you, sweetie.

Amy, as I have shared with you, I still miss Duchie. The love we have for our furkids is deep and abiding and real. And I'm thrilled beyond words to see you posting here, because I have a deep and abiding love for you as well.

I will never get over any of my dogs. Each one has taken a bit of me with them but what they left in its stead is a place for me to store all the memories of them.

Every DLC dog we have lost has taken a little piece of my heart with them.

I do hope you will come back Amy. We miss you and we would all love to hear about Salsa, Segue and Sonic and especially the doxie by proxy, Valspar!

She really really was. I forget she is gone so often. I can still feel her..her soft soft silky ears and her pudgy feet and her sweet kisses.
I don't think I will ever love another dog that much.
