Amy let Laika go today. She'd been deteriorating over the last few weeks, and it was time. Too much loss in such a short time, to lose Owen Weenie and her heart dog Laika. Just too much. Godspeed, sweet diva girl, go wait with your brother until your mom gets there. Holding them all close right now.

Every fiber in my soul is so very glad that Ellen and I drove over to Macon to meet Amy and company when they were on their way to Florida. Yes it was a bit of a drive - who cared? I got to meet Amy and Owey & Laika and even da bug!!!! Got to share grits at the Waffle House together. Laika and Owey were wonderful babies - so talented, so personable - you could see Amy's love and patience in them.
Maybe they have caught up with Scooby and can teach him a thing or 2 until I get there.....Sandi aka Mama S aka keeper of da herd and da Popsicle flavor list AND Nana to Sean, Mykaylyn, Emma, Baylee, Eli, and Bryce and Mama to da brat, da boy and Brooke!
