That Rascal.
Beau plays 'find the ball' every day and for the month of Feb and maybe March too, Georgia is kenneled with her own ball as a back precaution.
Every time Beau gets the ball (which is each and every time now without girls competing to find it) he keeps about 2 feet from me. I sit on the little stool with the red squares blanket, call him, he doesn't come over. I get up, bring him over, put his front feet on the stool and say GOOD BOY!!! I've done this like a zillion times with him. That's the game he likes to play, keep away.
This time dear hubby is playing with him, I'm doing other dog duties like cleaning up wet paper, and hubby stops to chat with Georgia and sweet talk her while he's waiting for Beau to find the ball. Wouldn't you know, for the first time EVER !!! there is Beau, waiting at the stool, feet on the stool, just like I put him a zillion times. I look over and the rabbiest. ears. ever. Basically he's saying you can just stop paying any attention to Georgia now and look at me because I really do know how to play the game you like to play. Rascal rascal rascal..
Oh yeah. He knows.
He's such a show boat that loves the spot light. lol
It worked. I came over and picked him up and lots of kisses.
