    When mine were in that destructive stage, I often bought dog toys at garage sales and dollar stores, checking them carefully, of course.

    We would make our own toys with Pogo. Old socks, we would ball up and put them into other socks and tie it super tight. Or we would take old towels and braid them tight.

    Pogo was king of the squeaky, he loved the kill. Now that we have multiple dogs, they don't get as many toys because of fights.
