    Default Sunday morning dilemma

You know the one. You need to potty, and get more coffee... But the dachshund is sleeping deeply in your lap, under a blankie.

    So you hold it.

    Every time...

Sadly, not in my world. I love my critters yet a weak bladder comes first.

The tiny beastie has awoken! Sadly, her daddy is still in bed and she's decided it's time to run a quality control check on all of her squeaky toys.

Having had a lot of UTI's in the past, I don't wait. Doggies have to get up and move their butts, when I have to pee. They survive.

I go through H-E-Double Hockey Stick when I have to get up out of bed to go potty. First, I have a twin bed and two dachshunds. Second, there is ALWAYS one sound asleep who is in between me and the edge of the bed. Third (and final) the one in the way NEVER wants to move. I keep warning them that if they make me wet my lovely Tempurpedic bed, I am going to pee on them too.

I can't even tell you how many times I have held it because it was too early in the morning and I know a sparrow farting in Tanzania wakes this pack up and they are relentless once they are up.

The P's when they are up, except they squawk FOOD FOOD FOOD

But yes, I have also held it due to pure cuteness that I didn't have the heart to disturb

Is it bad that when the dog sleeping on your lap hears "I gotta pee" she instantly gets up off your lap so you can get up?
