This time of year, pool water would be plenty warm. Mine always seemed to be down in the winter when swimming them outside was hard.

Rusty still drags his back feet/toes some. His physical therapist/vet suggested this wrap that helps re train the feet to land in the correct position. I haven't ordered it yet but I will be soon.

It has been a little over 3 months since Sebastian's surgery. His hair is growing in, and it has covered his scar at this point. I noticed that his face is whiter now. He also has white streaks in his ear coat.
My snuggle bug is showing his age. :(
Sebastian is doing well. He lasted 3 weeks between laser treatments this time. My dog walker extended their walk by 1 more house and he did well. I noticed yesterday he was again stiff and sitting down a lot. So, took him in for treatment. Today he chased a flock of birds off the neighbors front yard.
New issue for us. It seems that he started leaking in his sleep. His bladder I mean. Not every time, but at times it is quite a bit. Is it age? He is 11 now.Olga

I'm glad Sebastion is doing so well. I'm not sure about the urine leakage. Bogart had that after his back episode but he was also 15 and had started to have to go out really often.

When he had his senior profile done 3 months ago, his kidney function was fine.

Maybe I didn't describe it quite correctly. He is continent most of the time, besides usual accidents. He drinks a lot at time, and when his bladder is full, he can leak in his sleep. It is as if he is bed wetting like a kid. I woke up one morning and he was sleeping in a wet spot.

. Not sure about the leakage. I would think if it was neurological it would have happened right away. But I guess it could be how the scar tissue and swelling are sending signals?
