    Default first vet appointment

well, first for she and I. I actually had all four dogs at the vet for various vaccines, heartworm testing etc. and Twylie Puppy got her second set of shots. My lovely vet was so impressed with the puppy...she's so...STURDY. and she's HUGE. 5.7 pounds at 11 weeks! she's an ounce heavier than Segue and rapidly closing in on Sonic who is a tiny little guy at 7 1/2 pounds. everything looked good. good teeth, good heart, good knees. but I already knew that cuz I had a health certificate from her breeder's vet but it was still nice.
    She's just sooo gorgeous.
unfortunately about an hour after we got home she had a vaccine reaction so back we went. My vet is not close anymore but I hate to change cuz she's so awesome. Shot of steroids (I had already given her benedryl) and she was good to go in about 1/2 an hour.

she looks soooo different already. like a real ween, not a generic puppy

Fat little paws and 'possibly' a glint of mischief in those eyes .

Sorry about the vaccine reaction. Tristan had one at about her age, but it was lepto and I believe you said she didn't get that. Scary.

    She is marvelous!!!

She's got "puppy brain" big time. Attention span of about 5 seconds and everything must be pounced on gleefully. it's awesome. The Cheez (Salsa and Segue) don't appreciate it much and actually Patchouli (pig) is tiring rapidly of being bounced on.

Maisy STILL thinks everything must be pounced on gleefully. Except when she decides that she and Milo need to pretend to be goats. Then there is lots of hind leg standing and head whacking going on.

Cute. She's becoming a big girl. Yay. And already working on perfecting that "l@@k".

There's something about gleeful puppy-pouncing that makes the heart swell! I'm so glad you've found some joy, Amy. I know you love all of your menagerie... But there's something about a ween!

Well Sonic is a ween too but he doesn't seem like one. too wimpy. except when playing with Twylie. I'm so glad he likes her!
