Dis is RUFUS an he is big and stoopid an I can't decide if I wike him or not. He lives at my house, in The Outside. I live in The Inside because I am Bery. Special. But lately mah daddeh has been lettin his big stoopid self inside.

I don't mean to be elitist, but have you SEEN HOW WONG HIS WEGS ARE?!?!

Dat ain't right.

He wants to play all de time. And he don't have to be on no stoopid weash. I hate him. But I kinda wanna play.

Rufus is off the charts CUTE! Like super duper cute. Squee.

That is nice he gets to be inside on hot day and share space with SJ, even though she is not a fan of his. She is such a little beauty.

I believe that Rufus (who is 4 months old) is being conditioned to have good manners in the house.

It is hotter than hell here - 106 heat index today, humidity oppressive. Can't breathe.

We know I'm 100% against breeding, but here's Rufus... Shows you can love someone and fundamentally disagree, yet still live in the same house and continue to love one another, even if mumbling under one's breath from time to time.

Rufus was supposed to be bob-tailed, but Sutton waited so long to get his tail docked that it would have been a surgical procedure so Rufus still has a tail.

He's super sweet and thus far displays a healthy fear of vehicles.

Very cool. SJ gets a playmate of her own size? That would be awesome. Has Daddy adopted this outside doggie? Or is Rufie just visiting?

Alas, Rufus was born here. DH raises the occasional litter of mountain cut squirrel hunting dogs.

Cash says the same thing about Scooter. I think he wishes Scooter lived outside. Cash could happily be an only dog
