Lily is all done with chemo with no signs of metastasis in her lungs. WOO HOO!! She's her normal spunky self, the only difference is that now her tongue sometimes hangs out the right side of her mouth. Oh, and I think she hates the vet tech that did all her blood draws. She barked at her the last time she came to get her to take her in the back for the draw. I think she's probably as tired of going to the vet as I am (chemo, one week later CBC (white blood cell count), then two days before the chemo (3wks apart) she had to had blood drawn for a CBC and chem. panel (looking for liver and kidney function issues) then two days later, chemo (all day at the vet's office after a 45 minute drive there).
Don't get me wrong, the trips were all worth the time and expense, I'm just glad it's all behind us now and we can get back to our normal lives. Hopefully Lily will be around for years to come, no longer how long she is with me she will be loved and adored. She's my little "spunky spice".
Thanks for all the rays, I definitely think they helped.
