Raw feeding dental benefits are from chewing the meat & bones, from the mechanical rubbing that cleans teeth. So gulpers who swallow without gnawing (eg, Buddy) are missing out, and still need dentals. Many raw feeders feed pre-ground meat, which nullifies the chewing benefit, cuz it's just mush. So teeth remain bad. The solution is to feed frozen, or BFLO (Big Food Less Often = large complicated hunks), to slow down the gulpers, forcing them to chew.
