    I wonder if, instead of crating him, you put him in an x-pen when you went to work, with a peepad? That way even if he messed inside, he'd still have the space to get away from it, and then maybe he wouldn't bark, or be concerned about what he did (or need as many baths LOL). Just a thought... That's one of the reasons I took the ramp away from the bed. Patti would get up there, fall asleep and then have an accident while he was sleeping. Easier just not to let them up (or down) unless I'm there. Jules also got into the habit if going down the ramp during the night and doing exactly that. They were peepad trained, but it was a bit hit and mostly miss . They meant well! If she can hold it, just don't let her get up during the night, would be my suggestion.
