    Default Senior Girls

Monday, I rescued not one but two wonderful old girls from a local shelter.

Bitsy, the B/T, was an OS who is 13. She has one canine tooth left and has an arthritic left rear leg. Other wise she seems very healthy. I think I might have a new home for her after her vet appointment on Monday. Honey on the other hand is also around 13 and is a "hot" mess. She was abandoned in a house with 2 other dogs. She only has her 4 canines left, skin and bones, and has a bad flea issues. She will be a long term project.

Both girls are precious and as much as I want to stop, I cannot leave a senior in a local shelter. I pulled them both at the end of the "safe period

I'm so glad you rescued these two and also glad you have a home for Bitsy. Poor Honey is a mess, but I'm sure some time at Yolanda's old dog spa will do wonders for her.

Well, of COURSE you pulled them!!! How could you not? Those sweet sweet faces Good thing (or not) we don't live closer, Yo, cuz you KNOW how much I love a medical challenge . There's a 16 year old chi mix here who I've been debating on bringing home, (he's at the pound, but I think they've found a home for him as of today ), but with Ferk reight now, I'm reluctant to upset the balance at home too much. Unless it was an emergency, of course! Then of course I would!!! SO glad they've come Yo's Slice of Heaven and Old Dog Spa...all good from here, girls!
