GOOD GRIEF CHARLIE BROWN, COULD YOU GET ANY WEIRDER INFO FROM A DENTAL????

Lisa, they now recommend either never give it with food or always give it with food... it's absorbed better without food, but since your doctor adjusts the dose based on blood levels, it will work itself out as long as you take it the same way all the time. But I'd be a little suspicious of one you HAD to give with food.

Ferkel is a tough little girl, isn't she? Clearly she likes life pretty well these days and isn't real interested in moving on just yet .

Lisa, I've been on synthroid for the last 4 years and it has a huge "take on an empty stomach" sticker on it, and the drug info pamphlet says to take at least 1/2 hour before eating, preferably in the a.m. before b'fast. Which means for me having to take it around 4 a.m. That's interesting info, Kim!

Ferkel absolutely has inherited Alex's determination to hang around here regardless She's got such spirit, and joy in her, despite everything. Keeping her on restricted movement (no running or jumping) for TWO months is going to be a challenge!!! I know her kidneys are deteriorating, and one of these days she's just going to crash...she's made it very clear that she doesn't want to talk about it so we're just enjoying each other as much as we can til that happens. I love her SO much!!!!

I did the restricted movement with Miller for 6 weeks and it was a HUGE pain. The flying dachshund wasn't fond of it so I had to watch him all the time. My house had barriers everywhere so that I didn't have to have him tethered to me all the time and could let him loose sometimes in small areas.

Ferk is very lucky to have landed at your house. I am betting that the knowing she is loved so much is why she decided to stick around.
