    Reverse psychology for the win. Yes, I see the obvious problems with this, and all dogs should know "drop it" but it is still cute.

    What a cutie Although I suspect that if he had just said "Mel! Here's a treat!" the effect would have been the same (I took a great deal of exception to the "like a woman" comment..... )

    I agree. And I took exception to that comment, too. Early on in having dachshunds, I read an article that said "you can't make a dachshund do anything, even if it's what he wants to do". I think this is something like that.
