Default Pippit J What Did You Say

On July 9, 2004, he came into my life. We had good times. We had bad times. We laughed. We cried. And adventures? There were so many.
But I had to say goodbye to my little man tonight. He let me know last night that he was ready. I spent the day-just enjoying what little time we had left together.
One more adventure: our last day together.
These books are from the dog chapel, where we went a few weeks ago

    Some hiking

And he got to ride in a police car!

Let Grammy and Grampy know to expect him.

    Some heart to heart chats.

    Steak and potato for dinner.

He took his last breath in my arms at 6:50 tonight. And I could feel him not wanting to leave. I told him I would be ok and that he needed to go. Ron was there, promising to take care of me. We both held him as he left us.
    My heart is broken.
But I wanted to thank everyone for sending their love today. We felt it.

Karen and Ron, you gave Pippit all your love and he returned it as only a dog can. You will miss his physical presence but remember, Pippit is now living in your hearts instead of your house - he will always be with you no matter where you go.

What Tracy said. for the Pippit Jay-sized hole in your house, Karen and Ron. Truly, not gone, but gone ahead. He had the best life a dog could have (have loved the photos of your Pippit Jay memory-making tour ). Godspeed, little man. Til you meet again.

My entire office is in tears with you today. They are all dog people and truly get it so when they came in to see me crying and then the grief swept through the house. Please know that Pippit's passing is being mourned even by strangers.

Run free, little man. You gave him the best gift you could have and spared him more suffering even though it cost you dearly. As Tracy said he'll always be with you. I'm in tears for you and Ron now.

Luckiest. Doggie. Ever. Crying the ugly, snotty tears, here. Love you, and my heart physically hurts for you. I'm so beyond happy that you have Ron with you now and always. Pain and grief shared is a wee bit less awful.

So sorry to hear about Pippit Jay! Take comfort in knowing that you gave him a wonderful loving home that any dog would love to have.
