    Default Petunia Update!!

It will be 3 weeks with Petunia on Thursday evening.....she is doing well---she is ready to go....we have 3 or more weeks of crate rest....she is not happy....Today Jan 4th she had her 6th adequan injection and her 2nd acupuncture...she is now down to 1/2 of prednisone every other day for until pred is gone...Tomorrow we will see a Vet, that will show us how to do physical therapy...Hopefully she won't have a relapse.

Great news! Funny how they want to be in the crate at first but then the steroids kick in and they can take on the world!

Basically what we did for Petunia was crate rest, prednisone, tramadol, adequan injections, and acupuncture....Today we are going to see a Vet to show us how to do therapy with her (I don't think she needs it) but we are taking her, cause the Vet that is doing acupuncture, recommended it...I also got her a aquatic flotation vest, once they say she can do water therapy....We also give both dogs Vetri Disc---it can be bought on-line....
