    I honestly don't know. This is a place she goes all the time, and THIS has never happened before. She spent the day at Dr Brian Day Camp, had a shot of Benadryl and a steroid shot and is home now with Benadryl and an antibiotic.

    Thanks for all of the rays and prayers. I was terrified.

    Holy moley! I would freak out too! Glad she's on the mend.

    Did I mention that she was on her lead and I could see her THE WHOLE TIME? I couldn't see her snoot the whole time, but I kept a close eye on her butt (watching to the Tootie to hit the ground so I'd know she really pottied.)

    We have had fire ants before, Olga, but I've only seen them in the hot hot summertime. We had a few warm days, and I'm wondering if something hatched out during that false spring...
