Snootwatch: today's version. We have run a course of antibiotics, so I'm guessing it'll just take time.

Sent that to Brian and he got us another round of antibiotics and some post-operative skin-building ointment after an impromptu visit.

I'm headed out for NOLA in the morning so Dr. Daddy will have to take over.

Mitch is battling a similar looking skin condition. It has been 2 weeks and he is somewhat better yet he is still getting skin eruptions daily that smell musty. His girlfriend has diagnosed a skin infection with a secondary yeast infection. There is no more jock itch lotion, athletes foot cream, or Monistat left in Cumberland county. Do you have any idea how embarrassing it is to buy all the Monistat on the shelves at Walmart? He has to have it applied 2 times a day for 3 weeks. He looks like a moth eaten carpet. Sad. :(

I hope SJ gets better and it doesn't get worse.

Dang, Tracy! What's going on with these puppers? (I may have laughed out loud at the thought of you buying all the Monistat in town)

I have to admit, I laughed at that, too.

    Snootwatch - 2 weeks out.

As you know I was gone to NOLA Wednesday-Sunday. Had a great time, but got home and Savannah had this huge... THING on her nose. Dr. Daddy had been putting the ointment on twice a day, but ugh. It was a big ugly gray scab.

So guess where WE went yesterday?. Yep - Dr Brian's! He who never says a slightly off color word said "what the hell?" when we walked in!

He took her to the back and put a warm wet cloth on her snoot and pried the scab off, and she is on the road to recovery.

I was afraid we were going to have a bald or scarred snoot, but he's convinced she's going to get her snoot-hair back. We'll see!

And for those who aren't on Facebook, here's my favorite pic from NOLA.
Off to the state Capitol today and tomorrow, then home, leaving Sunday for DC and again there is zero time to slip off and go see Yolanda, which really pisses me off. I'm traveling with the executive committee of our board, and it's like herding cats on the Hill.,
