Thanks for this...I saw that earlier. It makes more and more sense to just cook for them!

It seems like there are more and more of these. It makes me grateful for Texas Tripe.

It was, until they sold out. I think Nestle owns them now. Or Proctor and Gamble.

I think the safest way to feed now would be either Solid Gold or Newman's Own. Unless you cook for them. Can anyone share and post a good recipe?

I feed Nutrisca Salmon and Chickpea. It gets a five star rating on dogfoodadvisor.com. They also do a freeze dried raw.

Thanks M & M! Sounds like it's easy to make. Is it equal parts?

I cook for Ferk...she gets either chicken or turkey, broccoli, rice, tomato, yogurt, pumpkin and tumeric, all mushed up in the food processor (she has no teeth). I make enough at one time to last me a week. Takes about 20 minutes to throw it all together. I also add Hilary's Blend supplement to it at feeding time (b'fast and supper) just to make sure everything she needs is there. Add fish oil at supper. Easy peasy!
