    Default Tooth Trauma

Or maybe it should be bone trauma.

Tonight Darby was laying on the couch next to me chewing a bone. I noticed he was acting funny and doing funny stuff with his mouth. Hmmm . . . so I look in his mouth and he has somehow gotten a piece of very chewed sort of soft bone in front of his upper canine in the space where the lower canine fits. So I try to move it a little and I can't. I can wiggle it a bit, but not move it. Darby is still fussing with it so I decide to get some pliers so that maybe I can get a better grip on it. By the time I got back with the pliers, he'd gotten it out on his own. I guess I scared him with the pliers and he decided he'd better get it out on his own!

Good to know for saving money on dentals!!! Just threaten the pliers and they'll do it themselves Clever Darby!

They might be able to survive more than a half hour in the woods, after all .

Cassie every so often gets her toenail tangled in her own ear-fluff, and screams bloody murder until someone detangles her .

Oh, Cash did that that other day only it was his toenail tangled in an afghan. I thought he was dying.
