    Default Good Lord Scooter

So Scooter has been doing really well. Then last night he started acting not so good. Jim went to pick him up to put him on the couch and he yelped really LOUD. It scared the bejeezus out of both of us. I called Dr C at 9:45 (thank doG for my vet ) We talked and she doesn't think it's digestional. He's eating and poo'ing fine. So now we're concerned it's his back. :(

I'm keeping him quiet and with me today and tomorrow. Neighbor is having his roof redone so I'm not planning to go to the office Tues or Wed. We're going to see how he does. If I need to call Dr C, I always can. And there's a good ER vet right down the street.

Please send any spare for my boy. I'm really worried about him.

We had a quiet day. Since I was up until 3:00 worrying about him and checking on him, I wasn't feeling like doing much today. I didn't want him going up and down the stairs so I just spent the day downstairs, mostly reading and napping. He seems to be doing well. Eating, drinking and pooping fine. Went out and fought with the german shepherd next door thru the fence (he was supposed to be going potty!) so I brought him inside. He barked at the some people walking down the street, too, so he's definitely alert and wanting to be active. I mostly kept him in the bedroom with me where he can't see outside for things to bark at so he mostly slept today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it was just something small and he's going to be okay now.

    I swear they do!

I've been keeping him confined and quiet. He is NOT happy but that's the way it has to be. I'm going to talk to Dr C this week and see if she thinks a visit or an adjustment is in order.

He seems to be doing much better. I still have him on cooked ground beef. I'm going to start transitioning him back to the raw food in a week or so. Thanks for asking, Candy.
