    Default SavannahJane NaughtyDog rides again

So. SOMEONE has started occasionally pooping on the rug by the back door. AND EATING MOST OF IT. :vomit:

How do I Make. It. STOP?

I know she's not supposed to feel guilty and hide the evidence but that sure is what it looks like.

If you get some good advise, I would like it too. Pogo and Pixel do not do this and never have, Pepsi on the other hand.....he is a connoisseur, his, yes, Pogo's yes, Pixel's nope....all that has worked for us, is supervise and pick it up before he gets the chance. Adding pineapple to their diet is supposed to help, but honestly, in the summer all it did was attract bees!!

Oh, no! Sounds like back to crate training 101, and immediate clean-up. One of my dogs started eating their poop as they aged, for some reason. Good luck!

I've also heard sprinkle meat tenderizer on their food? Supposed to make poop taste bad. (Yeah, let that sink in...)

I tried everything with my poop eater, no luck.

Cash is an occasional poop eater. I've never had any luck with anything but keeping the yard cleaned up and keeping an eye on him. And, yes, its :vomit:

All of mine will do it, but never their own poop. Everybody loves Ferk's cuz it's got all kinds of good stuff in it The only way I've ever found to stop it is to pick it up as soon as it happens. I've tried various things over the years...cayenne pepper sort of worked LOL, but only if it's always on there, and they can smell when it is and when it isn't. Eventually I figured out that if I have to sprinkle it with cayenne every time they poop, why not just pick it up?
