    Default So about the blood...

Woke up this morning to see blood all over my sheets. I have no idea which dog it was, although it was mostly where Heidi usually sleep so am guessing it's her. But I went over her with a fine tooth comb (and the other 2 too) and found nothing. I thought maybe a UTI, but there doesn't seem to be any urine i.e. it's blood, not diluted, and she's not showing any other signs of one. Very disconcerting....anyone have any ideas? I also thought maybe her mouth, or possibly Ferk was coughing up blood, but again, no evidence of it. I'm stumped.

Okay, that's a mystery. I found a couple smears of blood on my sheets the other day, but it was a small quantity and I figured someone just licked a sore spot (although I didn't find one on anyone). Our mystery doggies.

If I was closer to home, I'd whisk the girls into Barry for a more thorough once over. Freaked is a good description, Lisa . Will see if there's a repeat tonight that it was a once off...

That happened with my Lexie once. I think we determined it was her teeth but I don't really remember.

I'm beginning to think it's Bussie. Discovered more this morning where he sleeps and he's been a bit under the weather the last couple of days. Thinking it might be a UTI. Guess it's time for the long drive into town if I can get an apt on Saturday. Poor old man.

solved the mystery!!! Dr. Barry found a burst infected sebaceous cyst on his tail. Darned black dogs...the scab didn't show up and I didn't even think to look at his tail, although I did check his butt . So he's on antibiotics (he's got some funky stuff going on in his mouth...eating poop will do that to ya!) and I have veraderm to put on the spot for the next week. All good!
