Default Cash Scared Cr*p Out of Me This Morning

I got up and Cash was still asleep which is sort of unusual but not unheard of. So I try to wake him up and I can't. He twitches a couple times but nothing else. I can hardly tell if he's still breathing. Oh, crap. I think I'm going to lose him today. I take the other dogs out to the kitchen and give them their PB feeling very sad. As they are getting their PB, I hear the familiar demanding bark that says "Hey, lady, get in here and get me off this bed!!!!!". I have never been so happy to have Cash demanding something from me. My little man lives to be Cash another day!

I guess so. And he sleeps with his eyes partly open so its a bit hard to tell if he's sleeping or if he's unresponsive. But he was just sleeping.

These old guys will be the death of us! Been there LOL, esp with Ferk. And once many years ago with Maxe...I came home from work to be greeted by Alex bouncing around, but no sign of her sister who was about 14 at this point. I couldn't find her anywhere, and heart in mouth, was convinced that she was dead. Nope, just VERY soundly asleep under the covers in bed and not best pleased about being woken up!

Oh, they will! I don't know how many times, I thought I'd lost Cash only to find he was just asleep.

Sebastian scares me like this from time to time. He also sleeps with his eyes open sometimes. And more often lately doesn't wake up to greet me.

They sleep so much harder when they are older. Glad he is okay.

Yes, Cash used to always be up and greeting me when I got up. Now he's often still asleep and doesn't always wake up when the other dogs get up and off the bed either.
