Default And now it's Bussie's turn...

Bussie is going in for a dental on Tuesday, cuz his gums have been bleeding rather badly. SO not good...however, more worrying, is that he's been fussing at his nether regions for the last few days and I noticed that when he was lying on his back having a skritch yesterday the area where his, um, "jet engines" were is really swollen on both sides. I'm assuming he was neutered...his former people loved him to bits and were good owners, but now I'm wondering what's going on. So it may not be a dental, it may be an exploratory on Tuesday! All rayz gratefully accepted....

And Heidi has had a few really not great days. She's gone down hill quite rapidly since Ferk crossed, but it looks like her shoulders are in the same bad shape Ferk's were towards the end of her life. She's hurtin' and is not happy. Plus she's getting quite addled. I had hoped to get her in to get an adjustment from Laura, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen since she's booked solid for weeks to come. I'm not ready to lose her yet!!!!!

All good! He lost 3 teeth...2 front ones next to his canines and a really rotted out molar. He'll feel better about that. And I learned something about male dogs Junk . Who knew they had glands on either side of their sheath? So that's what the lumps are, but Barry did check his peener and it's a bit inflamed but no other icky stuff, so he's on antibiotics for that.

He rechecked Heidi's anal glands too and one side was empty and the other just had a little bit of "juice" in it, which was normal, not all gross and green and full of pus (sorry...tmi?) like before.

So a grand lighter but stuff sorted. All good!!!!! Thanks for all the rayz!

Actually I thought that was pretty cheap! Full bloods xrays and 3 extractions...it would have been 3 times that at Laura's.
