    Hey, what about the best children's Dachsie book ever--Lengthy by Syd Hoff! My first dachsie was named after that dog!

    The book starts, "Lengthy was a very long dog. He was so long, he couldn't even see his own tail......"

    hmmm...I can still think of another one...The one with the two rescued Doxies and the two labs....hmmm what was the title of that one? Yep, written by a nutcase who hears dog voices...
