I just talked to the woman and she's going to call me next week to set up the home visit. :cheer2: That's the good news. Now the bad news, she doesn't really want a mix so Scooter is probably out. I'm going to talk to her thought because we almost never get standard dachshunds in rescue. Mostly they are under 20 lbs. so the chances of another 30+ lb dog coming along are slim to none.

    Post Scooter

Scooter is s good idea for that woman with the honking huge dachsie! Sounds like he must have a bigger playmate and even tho Scooter isn't 100% in looks, he is in his heart and that's what counts. Like "The Ugly Dachshund" movie....how can he live with all those wieners without "thinking and acting" like one? And then there's his own personal cuteness. Have time to teach him a quick trick like "sit up?" Might make him more marketable....:happy1: Or, how about this one....I taught Quincy how to do this: :bow2:

I'd take ya, Scooter, but the house is full. Even tho :urock: I still can't take ya, bud. Sorry.
