Default Info on being a therapy dog?

I think Mr. Reese-y Pants would be great with this.

Two groups that come to mind are the Delta Society and TDI.

Requirements will vary depending on the group. Often there are local groups too so maybe do a google search for other ones in your area.

Basic requirements are that your dog is patient, not easily freaked, adaptable and loves attention!!

Good links given by Courtney I'm sure you'll get plenty of info there, here's one from MA. Some groups may require a Vet evaluation and health certificate. Good luck and keep us updated.

They may be small, but you should see their hearts. Shelter/Rescue dogs aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other dogs. If they were human we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write. The ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter/rescue dog. Adopt one. And be proud to have their greatness on your side. Anon

The Professor would be perfect. He's VERY laid back (for example, if you don't hold on to him, he'll roll off your lap), very patient, not jumpy at all, and VERY cuddly. And....did I mention he's learning the Piano?

Tasha loves the senior ladies but would no doubt the too enthusiastic and knock them over.
