Look at that face...read that description...so much like my Peaches Wiener! I hope Sukie finds a great home!

Sukie is a young playful puppy that did not have the best start in life. She came to us when the kind folks at a vet clinic called and said she needed help. She was at a pet store and somehow she got either a chemical burn or a thermal burn near her behind. No one seemed to know what happened to her. She is almost all healed and may have a scar there as she gets older. Like any other playful pup she wags her tail all the time and runs around the house. She loves chasing her foster brother Luke and rolling around playing with him. Her favorite thing in the whole world is to play with toys so a basket full is a must for this little girl. She needs to be adopted by someone that already has another young dog or an adopter wanting to adopt two doxies. At night she sleeps in the crate and sleeps through the night. She does seem to be a little leery of men.
We just started the outside housetraining with Sukie and on day one she went outside five times so I think she will pick it up pretty quickly. Right now she uses newspaper and pee pads in addition to going outside. Like any other puppy she still tries to chew on a few things but listens well when told no. She is good with baths but is pretty squirmy when it is time to clean her ears and brush her teeth. She has not been tested with cats.
Sukie is a very sweet pup that needs a family that has the time it takes to devote to a puppy.
I would love to give Sukie a home, but it's not John I'd have to worry about...it's Peaches. She would not approve of having another dog like herself in the house! Plus, I don't think *I* could handle 2 toy loving divas!
