    Default Oh. Mah. Gawd.

I thought Savannah was on the trail of a mouse. In the house.

We live in the country, it happens. But I'm thinking SHE HAS GOTTEN AHOLD OF A RAT.

I think there is a RAT in my house. Time to burn it down and move. There is no other choice. She had ahold of... something... and then there was what looked to be a chunk of rat tail in the floor. IN MY HOUSE.

Freaking slick out. We are clean people. Eeeeewwwwww.

    I'm pretty sure I won't be eating supper tonight. I won't lie - I'm a little pukey.

Ok. I'm not sure if this is better or worse, but Dr Hubby's postmortem indicates this is lizard tail, NOT a rat. It's not ringed like a rat. SO NOW I HAVE A LIZARD!

Well, on the bright side, you now know that the intrepid hunter that is Grasshopper will keep the house rat free ... But ITA, that is really really gross. I quite like rats in principle...they're smart, and actually keep themselves quite clean...but not anywhere near me, thankyouverymuch!

I would take a lizard over a rat any day!

Any day of the week! I have lizards in my house. They come in around the doggie door and the french doors on the decks and, of course, my intrepid hunters bring them in, I'm sure. They suck but are realitively harmless as long as they don't get on me! Then I freak out! I've had rats in the back yard *shudder*. They occasionally come in from the golf course, but mostly just mice in the winter if it gets cold. They come in the garage and get in the closet with the hot water heater. Mice still freak me out and I don't want them to touch me, but they're not as bad as rats!

    SJ, You are CRAZY!
I can't stand lizards (or anything that looks like them in form)....FYI Scrubbing Bubbles will kill them (and shrivel them up...till your daddy comes home to remove them, but it might be a good idea to place a storage tote with a few weighted items on top in case they come back to life & try to escape).

Rats are not my friend either.

Eww Eww Eww. Glad SJ new friend has been removed from the house. I am not a fan of rats or lizards (or snakes or spiders). Shivers. Glad Daddy saved the day!
